Hello,

My name is Charles M. Adams and I am a 6th grade Special Education Teacher at Southside Middle School. I am originally from Tuskegee Alabama and attended the Macon County School System.  I graduated from Tuskegee Public High School in 1973.  Following graduation, I attended Tuskegee University for Summer School and completed my B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy in 1977.  In 1979, I entered active duty as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army.  In 1984, I received a Master's Degree from South Carolina State in Special Education with concentration in Mental Retardation.  In 1991, I received a Certificate of Theology from The Interdenominational Theological Center, Atlanta Georgia.  In 1996, I received my second Masters from Troy State University in Special Education with concentration in the Emotionally Conflicted Child.

My name is Charles M. Adams and I am a Special Education Teacher at Southside Middle School Tallassee Alabama. My teaching career began at Southside Middle School in the fall of 1993.  I taught Special Education students until 1998 and left for one year to teach Special Education at Booker T. Washington High School located in Tuskegee Alabama. I returned  back to Tallassee the following year and  I am presently serving as the 6th grade Inclusion Teacher at Southside Middle School.  I have over 18 years of teaching experience and I am certified by the Alabama State Education Department.

Hello,

My name is Rev. Charles M. Adams and I am a native of Tuskegee Alabama.  I am the great grandson of Lewis Adams the founder of Tuskegee Institute now known as Tuskegee University. I am married to Renee R. Adams who is from Sidney Ohio.  We have a 26  year old dauther named Cheria, and a 5 year old grandson named  La Michael.  I attended the Macon County School System and graduated from Tuskegee Public High School in 1973.  In the summer of 1973, I began my college studies at Tuskegee University and graduated in 1977 with a B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy.  In 1979, I entered active duty as a  2nd Lieutenant and was assigned to the Medical Service Corps Fort Sam Houston TX.  While on active duty, I received a Masters Degree from South Carolina State in 1984 in Special Education with concentration in Mental Retardation.  In 1992, I retired from the military as a Major and was assigned a church in Tallassee Alabama. In the fall of 1993, I began my teaching career at Southside Middle School also in Tallassee Alabama. In 1996, I received my second Masters at Troy State University in Special Education with concentration in The Emotionally Conflicted Child.  I am presently working as a Special Education Teacher at Southside Middle School and serve as the Pastor of Shiloh A. M. E. Zion Church located in Auburn Alabama.
