Firefighter Brian Schwab Visits SMS

Fighting fire with fire

Southside students in Mrs. Christ, Mrs. Nelson, and Mrs. Payne’s homeroom listened attentively as firefighter and paramedic Brian Schwab shared with them the ins and outs of his job. Mr. Schwab is a firefighter and paramedic with the Montgomery Fire Department. His daughter, Loren Schwab is a student in Mrs. Christ’s homeroom.

 

After Mr. Schwab shared with the students how heavy firefighter’s equipment can be, Mrs. Nelson had the opportunity to try on the firefighter’s suit for herself.
